Driving liberates you by enabling you to get across large distances at your own pace, stopping anywhere or everywhere.
From a very young age, cars have fascinated me, not only for the joy of being behind the wheel, in control of a machine and the mobility it brings, but also because a car is a “bridge” in itself – a passage, to places often inaccessible to any other means of transport; new cities; meeting different people and getting an outsider’s peep into life around the world.
The drives over the last 35 years have come together as a result of dreaming, passion and having the right people with me along the many journeys I’ve been privileged to undertake across more than 50 countries and four continents.
